![]() ![]() I would never suggest anyone pay full price for it either.ĭ4, I'm hopeful but not gonna hold my breath in anticipation like I did with D3. It was fun enough to play through once, but I wouldn't do it again. They do feel a little too simple at times.Īs for Chaosbane, they made it, they sold it, they're done with it. I couldn't actually get into the 2nd or 3rd. I liked the first one, played the 2nd for a bit, and tried out the 3rd. Torchlight 1/2/3 fun games, and actually made pretty well. It's definitely got more polish than Chaosbane, but it is a little clunky I feel. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't pay full price for it and don't think the slayer edition is worth it. This game could have been any generic gothic/medieval IP and been pretty much the same. I agree it's a waste of the Warhammer IP. It's still probably worth playing if you get it on sale, just like Chaosbane. There is the core gameplay and that's about it. Last Epoch has a nice mix I think, enough room to customize (taking from POE) while maintaining an approachable interface/mechanics. Very well made, tons of support, but you have to have multiple 3rd party resources open behind your game client just to play the game. Path of Exile is cool, but WAAAY to complex for me with crafting and building etc. They've got tons of content though, with 2 dlcs available. ![]() Imo, Grim Dawn is really good, if not getting a little dated at this point. I pretty much only play ARPGS anymore, so I've tried most of them. This gives you the increased freedom to explore/tweak builds that POE offers, without the overwhelming 1000 node skill tree that is such a turnoff to new players. They can all be tweaked to fit your playstyle. A separate skill tree for every single attack/skill/spell. I think they have some really cool ideas with they're skill trees. The Slayer Edition also lets you pick the newly. You play as either an Empire soldier, High Elf mage, Wood Elf scout, or your choice of Dwarf Slayer or Engineer. The Slayer Edition brings a nice set of Series X and PS5 enhancements to it as well being bundled with all of its post launch content. Having given up on POE, my options were starting to dwindle, that's why I picked up Last Epoch. Warhammer: Chaosbane originally dropped in 2019. ![]() I was pumped for D2R but it's already kinda faded on me. Multiplayer is not yet live, but if you play solo anyways it doesn't matter. It's still in early access, but it's dope already. For real, you should check out Last Epoch. ![]()
